A relaxed fitting, semi-formal button jacket cut from a plush cotton velvet backed with a dense striped herringbone that has been dyed to a rich brown-beige using iron tinted (saddened) acacia wood extract; the varied nature of the natural dyeing process creates an irregular mottled spotting throughout. Features a spread convertible collar with rounded tips, patch pockets at the waist, split sleeve cuffs, and split seams at the sides and back. The easy, boxy fit creates enough volume to express the plush drape of the double layered construction while the split seams allow free movement and create miniaturized coat tails. Constructed using a unique method where each panel is first bound around its edges and then attached by overlapping two panels.
