A generous fitting overshirt cut from a softened wool serge that has been dyed to a soft indigo blue as part of Tender’s ongoing “Achilles Heel” series. Features Tender’s classic wrinkled collar, a left breast pocket set directly against the front placket, and a yokeless back with a generous knife pleat at the neckline. The generous body combines with a slightly dropped shoulder to create a voluminous silhouette that accents the sturdy airiness of the serge. Constructed with Tender’s trademark emphasis on durability using chain stitched flat felled seams throughout for a hard wearing final product that will last many years to come; hand cast pewter buttons, dropped rear hem..
Achilles Heel garments are dip dyed in indigo with one portion left out from the dye bath. For this shirt the light spot is featured at the hem of the side seams.
As with all Tender garments, some fading and dye transfer should be expected with wearing and washing. Use caution when wearing with light coloured fabrics and use gentle washing methods when possible.
