Each glass is handmade on the Venetian island of Murano, renowned for its glassmaking for centuries. The glasses show the handmade process in each aspect, including the bottoms, where the attachment to the punty is left visible. The corteccia “bark” technique lends a visual and textural depth to the glass as the green/yellow colour irregularly spreads out on the translucent base and clear glass is sculpturally added along the outside.
