A relaxed fitting button-front jacket cut from a lightweight, vintage, French linen/cotton canvas that has been naturally dyed to a soft, nutty ecru beige using walnut and hazelnut. Features a narrow classic collar, a left breast pocket, large hand pockets at the waist, and a hang loop at the back neck. Carefully placed volume through the chest and shoulders offers a natural easy fit, complementing the texture of the fabric, while high tailored armholes lend a sense of composure to complete the elegant silhouette. Constructed using fine single-needle flat felled seams throughout for a long lasting, fully encased finish that leaves a beautiful interior; completed with antique French buttons that play beautifully with light and hand sewn button holes in French silk thread.
Note: The naturally dyed colour will develop with age and wear, taking on a more saturated character and a slightly darker hue.
